Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a senior electrical engineer who is motivated, dynamic, and willing to work diligently in a fast-paced team environment.

• Qualifications:
• California registered Professional Engineer.
• BS or MS degree in electrical engineering.
• At least eight years of experience - water-related project experience is a plus.
• Must have working knowledge and experience with small and medium power distribution systems, lighting, switchgears, motor control centers, control circuits, and instrumentation.
• Experience with PLC-based controls is a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good English verbal and writing skills are required.

• Duties:
• Perform engineering design and calculations for electrical loads, power distribution systems, and circuits.
• Prepare and oversee details and drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, letters, and cost estimates.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, inspectors, utility agencies, and contractors.
• Perform research, studies, and site investigations.
• Support senior team members.
• Types of projects include pump stations, meter stations, flow control facilities, small hydropower generating units, diesel power generators, storage reservoirs, buildings, and similar infrastructure.
