Electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls are involved in almost all projects undertaken by Perliter & Ingalsbe. These include mechanical projects, pump stations, wells, flow control facilities, pressure regulating stations, diesel generators, hydro power generators, reservoirs, tanks, administrative buildings and other similar public works facilities.
- Electrical Systems: Electrical systems may include the following.
- Electrical supply from service provider/utility company, involving low and medium voltage systems (4160VAC, 480VAC, 120/240VAC)
- Electrical power distribution system
- Electrical equipment, including switchgears, transformers, panelboards, and protective relays
- Lighting, receptacles, and switches
- Conduits and wires
- Instrumentation: Instrumentation is provided as required for each project and may include the following.
- Pressure gauges and switches
- Pressure and level transmitters
- Intrusion, proximity, limit, and position switches
- Motion sensors
- Solenoid valves
- Relays for variety of functions
- Push buttons, emergency stops, and reset buttons
- Temperature monitors, detectors, and switches
- Power monitors
- Flood/float switches
- Vehicle detectors
- PLCs
- Controls: Design of controls are integral part of the public works project. Controls are provided for variety of electrical and mechanical equipment and processes. These include, but not limited to the following:
- Pumps
- Motors
- VFDs
- Chemical feeds
- Hydraulic valves
- Motor control center
