Projects - Tanks & Reservoirs - Example Project

Rolling Oaks Reservoir:

  • Owner: City of Thousand Oaks
  • Cost: $750,000

The existing 200,000-gallon bolted steel tank was analyzed for its structural integrity and inspected for coating and corrosion related problems. It was concluded that the reservoir had served its useful life serving a secluded Rolling Oaks community in the City of Thousand Oaks. Because the existing reservoir components were deteriorated substantially over the years and were not considered stable in accordance with today's standards, the City decided to replace this reservoir with a new and larger (350,000 gallons) welded steel tank.
