Lang Ranch Pump Station Improvements

Following completion of improvements to existing ten pump stations, City of Thousand Oaks determined to improve Lang Ranch Pump Station, one of the last few remaining pump stations to be rehabilitated.

Perliter & Ingalsbe was engaged to perform detail design of improvements and provide construction support services.

Major Components and Special Features:


  • Replace aged and outdated electrical switchgear and MCC with new
  • Install temporary power and control systems to maintain continuous operation of the existing pump stations during entire course of the construction
  • Provision for connection to portable diesel generator
  • Install new conduits, wires, and lighting and abandon existing
  • Install new instruments, controls, PLC, and control cabinet





  • Replace existing air piping system, including air compressor and controls for surge tank with new
  • Modify existing masonry building as required
  • Install new louvers and exhaust fan for existing building
  • Painting and coating
  • General site improvements, including asphalt pavement
